Gymshark Chief Brand Officer To Speak at MAD//Fest London
1 April 2021
Gymshark Chief Brand Officer Noel Mack will share how the UK’s fastest growing firm will fuel its next phase of growth in a keynote at MAD//Fest London on 7-8 July at The Old Truman Brewery Car Park.
Mack, who leads the development of the training apparel brand globally, will reveal how Gymshark plans to grow its booming business in the wake of the global pandemic.
Last month, Gymshark, an online unicorn business launched by founder Ben Francis from his parent’s garage in 2012, opened a US HQ in Denver. Gymshark already has a base outside of the UK in Hong Kong. The brand is synonymous with marketing to ‘digital natives’ and has famously snubbed traditional advertising in favour of high impact influencer and social media campaigns.
“Gymshark is one of the loudest, most exciting and successful disruptive brands to emerge from the UK in recent times. We’re excited that Noel will share the direction of the business as it enters its next growth phase and how the brand continues to adapt and evolve as a new reality takes shape,” said Dan Brain, MAD//Fest London’s Co-founder.
Mack joins a stellar list of speakers who will be tackling MAD//Fest London’s 2021 theme, ‘Where Do We Go From Here?’ Held place across 5 stages, the content programme also includes live £20k innovation challenges from brands including McDonald’s, Diageo, Walgreens Boots Alliance and Reckitt Benckiser.
Over 4,000 marketers are expected to attend MAD//Fest London, which is the first ever major UK marketing festival to take place outside rather than in a traditional venue. MAD//Fest London is also the first industry event of 2021 to take place in hybrid form, meaning visitors can attend the event in-person or via MAD//Fest London’s virtual platform.
