18 November 2019
3D visualisation start-up Threedium and product sampling platform SoPost were big winners at MAD//Fest London last week after winning £20k pilots with Diageo and Avon respectively.
Backed by Zenith and Digitas, PITCH//IT saw emerging start-ups and agencies pitch their innovations to a brand experience brief provided by Diageo and a ‘Tech solutions in low tech environments’ challenge from Avon.
Threedium, whose clients include Sainsbury’s, Johnson + Johnson and BMW, picked up the Diageo PITCH//IT award. The company specialises in delivering 3D advertising campaigns and interactive content for generating leads, boosting click-through rates and attracting customers.
Campaigns using Threedium’s 3D technology delivered a 30% increase in conversion rates and click-through rates that were up to 300% higher than comparable campaigns that did not use 3D technology.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have won the Diageo Brand Challenge at MAD//Fest London and that we will be adding our immersive 3D formats to the experience of Diageo’s brands,” said Lode Groosman, Threedium’s Co-founder.
“We've met countless like-minded people with hunger for innovation from various industries at MAD//Fest and I can't wait to announce the many great collaborations that are coming out of this.”
Meanwhile, SoPost impressed judges from Avon, Digitas and Zenith to scoop the £20k Avon pilot.
SoPost, who count L’Oréal, Cadbury and Philosophy among its clients, provide a one-stop-shop product sampling platform. The company specialises in driving relevance, engagement and data collection.
SoPost were named one of the UK’s fastest growing tech firms in the Deloitte 2019 UK Technology Fast 50 awards.
“We're so excited to partner with Avon and develop innovative sampling campaigns for their global community,” said Sinead McSweeney, SoPost’s Head of Account Management.
“Huge thanks to MAD//Fest London for this amazing event!”
“We’re passionate about matching brand challenges with solutions and enabling start-ups and corporates to forge fruitful partnerships. Threedium and SoPost are very different businesses that show the breadth of innovation in our industry. They’re both worthy winners of PITCH//IT and beat stiff competition from hundreds of talented tech firms and agencies from across the globe," said Dan Brain, MAD//Fest London's Co-founder + Content Director.
"Huge thanks to Avon, Diageo, Digitas, Zenith, our hosts Jeremy Basset and Ken Valledy, and all the companies who participated for making PITCH//IT a standout highlight of MAD//Fest London 2019."
